JLab Audio Ambassadors & Partners Donate 22,000 earbuds

As 2020 came to a close, JLab Audio we knew communities and kids especially could use a little cheer – so we reached out to our partners and ambassadors and invited them to find organizations in their local communities who could use JLab headphones for gifting and to support virtual learning. In total, our ambassadors and partners helped us give away over 22,000 headphones! Thank you to our partners and ambassadors for stepping up in your communities – and to everyone who made this possible! 

Walker Zimmerman: Nashville After-School Zone Alliance

Walker Zimmerman, the 2020 MLS Defender of the year and player for the Nashville Soccer Club, provided 1,000 earbuds to the Nashville After-School Zone Alliance program.  Zimmerman also gifted 200 earbuds to kids at the Metro Parks' Old Hickory Community Center during his visit this past December. 

Last month, @thewalkerzim visited the Old Hickory Community Center to dish out some new pairs of @JLabAudio
earbuds.

Ben Burr-Kirven: Atlantic Street Center

Myles Gaskin: Regina Group Home and SOS Children's Vilages 

Ben Burr-Kirven, Linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, and Myles Gaskin, Running Back for the Miami Dolphins, donated 1000 earbuds to Regina Group Home, SOS Children's Villages, and Atlantic Street Center. Both players also hopped on zoom calls with over 200+ kids from the organizations receiving the donations!

New York Red Bulls: After-School All Stars

Another MLS team, the New York Red Bulls, donated 500 earbuds to kids in their local After-School All Star mentor program.

Nadia Ruiz:  Its Bigger than Us, East College Pre HS, LA County Dept. of Children and Family, and Gilbert Continuation HS. 

One of our amazing ambassadors, Nadia Ruiz, donated 800 earbuds across 4 organizations: Its Bigger than Us, East College Pre HS, LA County Dept. of Children and Family, and Gilbert Continuation HS.

Best Buy Teen Center

One of our largest donations came from the help of the Best Buy Teen Center! Together they helped us donate 5,000 earbuds! JLab is grateful to call ourselves sponsors of their program! You can learn more about their program here.

LA Galaxy: A Place Called Home, Salvation Army LA, and Red Shield Community Center

Another large donation was made possible by our partner, the LA Galaxy team! They donated 5,000 earbuds to A Place Called Home, Salvation Army LA, and Red Shield Community Center. 

The other remaining donations made with us were: 

• Coco Zurita: 500 earbuds to his local Holiday toy drive

• Lucky Mkosana: 100 earbuds to a local community organization in Africa. 

• Andres Flores: 500 earbuds to Fundacion Educando a un Salvadoreno (FESA)

• Lauren Barnes: 450 AEF Foundation, Make a Wish, and RAVE Foundation 

• Jess Fishlock: 500 earbuds to Save the Children Fund

• Beverly Goebel: 2,900 earbuds to Title 1 School District, Moreno Valley 

• Nico Lodeiro: 500 earbuds to the Jordan Morris Foundation
