JLab Audio recently hit the slopes (or just hung out at the bottom) at the SIA Snow Show in Denver, Colorado! The chilly trade show happens at the beginning of the year and is the largest trade show event in the snow sport industry. All the coolest styles, gear, and technologies were shown for the 2017 and 2018 season.
This year the X-Games were also happening at the same time in Aspen, Colorado with our very own #TeamJLab Ambassador Noah Wallace competing. With both Team JLab Insiders and Noah taking on Colorado, we made sure to grab some attention.
JLab showcased some of our best products at the event including the Flex Bluetooth Active Noise Canceling Headphones, Crasher XL Splashproof Bluetooth Speaker, Epic2 Bluetooth Wireless Sport Earbuds, and our Neon Bluetooth Wireless On-Ear Headphones.
JLab Ambassador Noah Wallace competed for the first time in the XGames in Aspen and got some big air during his Slopestyle runs. He previously competed in the XGames in Oslo, Norway where he placed tenth. We're so proud of his performance and happy to support him!
This year was the 50th CES exhibition, and what we heard from many was that it seemed to be the largest one they've seen yet. From virtual reality, to robots, to smart cars, Bluetooth audio, and so much more, JLab was excited to be there! Taking home two awards and great feedback from everyone who stopped by, we were pretty pumped at the end of the week.
Our Party Series Wireless Multiroom Bluetooth Speakers (available now) won a CES Innovation Award and was even showcased at the show!
JLab introduced a few new products right before CES, which we were able to show throughout the week and let others try out. Among those were our Epic Air True Wireless Sport Earbuds, Party Series Wireless Multiroom Bluetooth Speakers, and our coming soon wired to wireless neckband (stay tuned!).
Our Marketing Team attended the Showstoppers media event where they showed our Epic Air, Party Series, and Flex Bluetooth ANC.
JLab's suite at The Hard Rock hotel looked awesome and totally decked out.
We also were able to find time to walk the show floor and see some awesome new technology and innovations.
We had a great time kicking off our New Year at CES in Vegas. We're ready to help you #FINDYOURGO this year with amazing new Bluetooth products! Be sure to follow along on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for updates and remember to enter the sweepstakes.

Recently the Consumer Technology Association released a report on the Top 10 Tech Gifts for the Holiday Season. According to this report, people will be spending about $36.05 billion on tech products this month. Among those tech products? You guessed it...over or on ear headphones, wireless headphones, and portable Bluetooth speakers, all expected to be among the most popular.
So in case you were already thinking about getting those awesome people in your life a pair of headphones or speaker, look no further. Here's our top four favorites to fall into the top tech gift categories!
To kick off our Crasher XL Technology Sweepstakes we're going to educate you on the 30 watts our speaker holds in case you missed it in our previous blog post. The Crasher XL's 30 watts is more power than the next leading competitor and a lot for a portable speaker, so you know it's going to be good...
A watt is the measure of electrical power in a speaker. This also corresponds with the decibel number, which is where the real loudness of the speaker comes from and is measured.
When you have a speaker that is 15 watts and a speaker that is 30 watts, the latter one is going to have double the power, not necessarily double the sound. When you double the power, you only increase the decibel by 3. In order for the sound to be truly doubled, you'd need to figure out the equivalent of doubling the decibels.
This speaker features one hi-fi neodymium driver, two lo-fi drivers, and two passive subwoofers...probably didn't think so much could be packed into a portable speaker right? That's because most don't so let your music boom with our Crasher XL.
