Zoe McDougall - Surfer

About Zoe

Growing up in a surf family on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii, one of the surfing capitols of the world, Zoe quickly picked up surfing at the young age of five. With surf legends as neighbors and a family full of surfers, she found herself fully immersed in the surf world and found inspiration on her short and long board in the water. After winning her first contest at the age of nine, she hasn't stopped shredding since.

FUN FACT: In 2015, Zoe was the youngest surfer in the world to finished in the Top 50 on the WSL Qualifying Series World Tour.

At the age of eleven she joined a training group with coach Kahea Hart, Hurley's Surf Team coach and former North Shore champ, he coached Zoe to success where she placed 1st in the state championships! At age 14, she was ranked high enough to be in The Vans US Open Jr. Pro Championships, which is pretty impressive for her age. She's been climbing the rankings in World Surf League Qualifying Series ever since.

Aside from surfing, Zoe enjoys making art, playing ukulele, guitar, reading, training, free diving and other ocean activities. She is very creative and loves working with her hands.

Get to know Zoe a little bit more in the video below and on her social media sites. Don't be afraid to say 'Aloha.' She's a sweetheart.

Zoe is one of the hottest young surfers in Hawaii and around the world. Not only do we think so, but so does SURFER MAGAZINE where they named Zoe #19!

"My favorite JLab products are the Crasher Mini and the Omni Headphones. They are great for when I’m traveling because they have no wires, and I can easily warm up for heats with the Omnis on and not have to hold my phone."
